FESTIVAL</div> <bR> <div> The 2008 Tulbagh Christmas in Winter Festival promises another fun-filled festival with family fun guaranteed as Tulbagh rolls out the welcome mat in a weekend extravaganza of arts, crafts , food , music and heart-warming winter beverages. Marvel at the participating wine estates, do cellar tours and taste the award winning wines of the Tulbagh valley, Historic Church Street will be decked with Christmas trimmings and glittering lights, or take a ride with Santa Claus handing out treats to bright-eyed kids, Jumping castles ,pony rides, face painting and Carols- by Candlelight are just some of the many fun activities planned for the young .  </div> <bR> <div> Don't' miss the chilli eating and various other competitions. Visit the Wijnhuis in Church street where wine tasting, witblits tasting, cheese and olives will be on offer as well as art and antiques. Shop early for the Festive season at stores, stalls, art galleries and wine estates. Taste home made Belgium chocolates made with South Africa's finest ingredients. Warming drinks and gluhwein to stave off the cold.  Sports bars are available for Dad to watch the rugby!</div> <div>   </div> <div> There  will be an array of decorated Christmas Trees and festive table settings at respective wine estates.  The town's usual array of top class restaurants will feature traditional Christmas Dinners and festive fare.  The Rock with Santa Party on Saturday evening is not to be missed as well as live music at the various pubs.  Crackling log fires, rooms decked with wreaths of holly, glittering Christmas trees and enticing kitchen aromas complete the picture.
